i'm changing my oil. got it drained already, where the heck is the oil filter ? tell me in some details please, can i got it from the top of the car or do i have to reach from the bottom ? thanks this is for a gen3 TEG

 

You have to get to it from underneath. It's up there, right above the oil pan on the left hand side if you're lying under it face up.

 

if u look on drives side under the intake manifold it should be in that area

 

You do not have to get it from the bottom on an LS you can reach it from the drivers side under the intake.
