What helmet do you have for track?
For those who track their cars, weather its circuit racing, auto-x or drag racing, I would like to see your helmets! and around what price did you purchased it for?

That looks good too but I question the effectiveness of the two little air inlets on the top! Do you feel any air at all while in the car?

I use a Simpson Voyager, it has a nice wide view, another thing to consider if you wear glasses. Its SA2000 though and I've had it for around four years so I'll be getting a new one soon, sticking with Simpson. I paid around $300 for it from some local muscle car shop.

Pyrotect Full Face

I use it mostly for autoX and have used it for a few days of karting. good visibility for a full face, the vents on the front seem to work pretty well when karting, but i dont notice the airflow when autoxing.

I've never gotten too hot in the helmet. Bells and many other helmets have been that way for years with no major issue.

Just got a new one, Sparco Spy 05 but I previously used a Bieffe F1. Great deal on the Sparco as they are clearing them out right now at about half the original price.
I got my Sparco SPY 05 last year, i wished i didn't buy it last year tho because...

I bought mine at UPR but it seems like you can order from the Sparco USA website as well but not sure what shipping will be through them. I got mine through UPR when they were being preorderd for $359. I think they are now $379 which is still a great deal considering they offer free shipping...

kimo, all the helmets everyone suggests are excellent. if i may suggest, pay a visit to simpson in harbor city (near torrance). link --> http://www.simpsonraceproducts.com/company
MOST IMPORTANT thing is to get a helmet that fits - try them on before you buy!
you don't want it too loose or, god forbid, if something happens, you don't want the helmet to 'move' and risk injury. you want it snug but comfortable.
glad to see you signed up.

lawlz, thats not me (like j00 didn't know that). Shes a friend of mine.
P.S. I tried on the loaner Bell helmets at local SCCA autocrosses to see what size I needed as there weren't any stores around here that carried them.
