Default Which Subs Should I get??????

Ok I need to know what type of subs I should get I am looking to get 2 12" subs. I was thinking about the MTX thunder 6000 are those any good. I want to run about 400-500watts to each one. I am thinking ebay is the way to go for prices so what other good subs are on there. Thanks

Are you planning on competing because 800-1000 watts continuous is a ton of power. I like the mtx units. I have one 12" blue thunder legend pushed by their thunder 2160 bridged. It's enough to shake your clothes. You sure you want two 12's ? Honestly at that decibal level there's not too much on subtlety (sp?) your ears are going to pick up so most brands( fosgate, mtx, ppi, kenwood, pioneer, etc) are going to satisfy your ears. Just stay away from the cheap names (ie thump). I hope you plan on using a capacitor.

If you really want to have the best all you need to get is one JL 13.5 inch W7
they are by far the best subs out there for quality, sound, and loudness.
Get one and a JL 1000 watt amp and you will have one of the best systems in town. The only problem is the price. retail for around $800 a piece.
