Default 93 Si, GSR Brakes....Question!

OK, sorry to ask a question without being able to do much research on it in advance....BUT, i'm at work(then school) and need to act on this quick.

I have a 93 Si and found a good deal on a GSR brake swap. My question is, what sizes are each rotor (for both cars if you know it). Just making sure this upgrade is well worth it for me.

Thanks HT!

It's worth it.

Si = 9.5"

GSR = 10.25"

The GSR caliper is larger too.

Wow....The deal is for front and rear.

Do you have dimensions for both?

Thanks!

The rears between the Si and GSR are the same, 9.4". Rear brakes are the same exact setup.

i guess i dont really see the point, just get some better pads, and fluid if you really want an upgrade in stopping, plus it will be more cost effective!

I agree with this option. Much easier and the same results. PM rota92 for which pads are the best.

We went to 94 abs brakes on the front for last season with trap speeds in the 145mph range. rota had the good pads front and rear with SS brake hoses. He said the car stopped fine.

We also ran 1/2 spacers because we ran 13"X 8" wheels, but with 14" wheels you should be fine. I seem to recall the OEM 13" fit them also?

Lets just say my current brake setup is in none-to-good shape (i.e. calipers are HIT). Also, i want to be able to sandblast/powdercoat and replace bushings on a spare setup to minimize downtime.

So wat all do i need to modify please?

you really dont need to upgrade anything, just bolt the stuff on a keep making excuses to waste money. i didnt upgrade my MC/BB or prop valve on my DX when i did the GSR conversion all the way around and the car stops on a dime
