Default I want to up grade my brakes for my 93 si

I want to up grade my brakes for my 93 si. I've heard grs rotors are larger than mine and was wondering how much trouble it would be to switch to a gsr setup and what all is needed

i believe you will need the GSR knuckle. rotor and caliper are a must. and integra RS master cylinder and brake booster if you want to do it correctly .

Well my calipers are shot. I need to replace them anyway thats why i considered the swap. If i keep my stock setup should i go honda remanufactured or just aftermarket?

I upgraded my 92 Si setup to a 2000 GSR setup. Install was way to easy to do. Just some bolts and that was it. Just make sure you will have all the correct cables and stuff, and the e-brake cables on a civic (in my case 92 Si) will work with the GSR brakes. You just have to adjust the bolt by the e-brake.

i have a 93si with powerslot, stock size, slotted rotors and hawk pads, i scca and autoX my car alot, and i can lock up all 4 wheels with this set up. if you dont get an integra master cylinder, your car will actuallt stop slower cause you cant move the fluid powerfully enough

upgrading your brakes to bigger ones makes a huge difference. i have a 92 civic vx that had all the original brakes and then i upgraded to the gsr set up which was much better and now just did the type r conversion which is nuts. There is a reason why these nicer cars have bigger brakes on them. To keep your stock stuff in my opinion is dumb if you want your car to stop better. If you are interested i am selling a set of gsr calipers, rotors and hawk hp plus pads. I would sell them to you for $200 as a pkg plus shipping. you would just need to get the knuckle then which arnt very expensive. Email me at timnparts@yahoo.com if your interested.
