1996 to 2000 Civic coupe taillights are all interchangeable.
1996 to 200 Civic hatch taillights are all interchangeable.
1996 to 2000 Civic sedan taillights are only interchangeable on the outer sections unless you're using taillights from certain countries which never changed the shape (parts of Europe, for example, still continued using "'96-'98" taillights). US inner sedan taillights will only fit if you get a trunk from the same year as the taillights.
