Ok well I have been meaning to ask a couple simple questions about my 98 Itr.
1. Well then i turn my ignition to the on position the fan comes on. Like i don't think my fan ever turns off.
We all know 98 itr had optional AC but i dont know since mine has ac if that has anything to do with it because it is the rad fan not the condenser fan.
Also does anyone have a problem with there radio and din popping out on big bumps or when the hit like 2nd?
No i dont beat on my car almost any but on occasion i do and going into 2nd my radio and din will pop out.
Just wondering if anyone had this problem and how did they fix it.
I apprecaite it guys and to keep it even more itr related here is a pic of the 98

yea radio is suppose to be on top, there is a little bracket on the back of the radio that a fine threaded screw goes in. On the inside of the dash there is a bracket it goes on top of screws down onto that and good to go

the main reason your having so much trouble with the radio is because that din panel you have in there is not the stock one, the stock one looks different, the radio goes on top and theres a little metal brakcet on the side that connects the din panel to the radio, then theres a small metal bracket on the back of the radio and that screws to the metal bracket back behind where the radio goes in, when all oem pieces are in place, and installed correctly its bolts it perfect, and doesnt come out
the screws work them selves loose over time, and alot of times when people install aftermarket head units they never reinstall the little metal bracket on the rear of the radio and it gets lost and when they put the stock radio back in they just shove it in there, its kinda snug but it never stays put
mine use to come out somtimes also, cut my finger pretty bad one time when i was at the track, so i took it all out got the right brackets and installed it correctly and never had a problem again

Well i went to look at the plug for the fan switch and gound out it was grounded and fan was running all the time and the fan switch plug is blocked off?

called the only and original owner and he said he did it because he was in stop and go traffic alot and wanted to prevent any overheating problems and he is an older honest guy
Also the radio is not on the top and it wont be coming out anymore
