The car cranks but won't start.
Alright people Im a newbie here. I just joined lol.
Alright lets start with the info on my car.
Its 94 honda civic coupe and its a automatic stock vtec engine (d16z6). Mods under the hood are only cold air intec and high performance spark plug wires.
Alright now to the story. That day the car was working fine, I drove to the mall and back home. After I got home I decide to install some new light bulbs that I bought for the car. Installed it in checked it after and it works. Went back in to the house and came back out an hour later to head to work. The car doesn't start. It just cranks. I didnt change anything else beside the light bulbs. That shouldn't be the problem right? So the next day I had a friend come over with a multimeter. He checked the fuses inside the car and under the hood, check the alternator, generator, and battery. Everything seems to have power running through them. We checked if there was any spark by putting a screwdriver into the spark plug wires. There are no sparks at all for all 4 of them. So is the problem the distributor? Do I need to change that? Is there anything else I should check?
Thanks
