So i'm going through my head gasket change and after i take the head out, i notice a piece of tubing, like a dowel in the headstud hole.

I only found one of these, with 4 possible holes in the head. Should there be 4?
I imagine these just line up the head or guide it on.....but i wanted to make sure b4 i put it back on!

they alined the head n keep the head gasket in place ...... u need 2 of them

 

Ok.....

I am putting head studs in, which align the head on their own. So technically, so i REALLY need the 2nd? Just would hate to have to order one lil pin from Honda
