First check to see if your losing any coolant if you are then chances are the head gasket is leaking causing coolant to get into the chamber and you losing some power. If not i would check the O2 sensor i have that problem before when the car warmed up it changes loops and reads from the O2 when was making it run really rich.

ill have to try the 02 because head gasket is deffanitly not blown.

The first thing that came to mind after reading the thread title was the 02 sensor. During open-loop (warm up) the engine runs without the aide of the 02; however, when warm (other than at full throttle), the engine runs with the aide of the 02. If it is fouled, you may be running weird AFRs causing the car to have less power than normal.

how do you know the head gasket isnt leaking? what he said was right, the coolant builds pressure when warm, this would cause it to creep past and end up mixing in the chambers.

You might think the HG is fine, but you never really know unless you do a leakdown/compression test.

X2, if your O2 isnt giving correct readings, its likely running richer than usual which would bog the motor's performance, making it feel sluggish.
