I search and couldn't really find that much information about the check engine light 16 which is fuel injector system defective. I'm finishing up my H22 swap into my 1996 civic. My cars throwing a code 16. Has anyone have this code come up before and how did you fix it?

A little more info on my swap- The motor is a jdm OBDI h22a into a 96 civic. I'm using a jumper harness from OBDII to OBDI using a p28 ecu. I wired a resistor box in my car. I did my resistor box exactly like DOWNwithHT how to thread(https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2073540). I solder every wire that was suppose to be connected even the H22 injector plugs to my stock wiring harness.

Also is there any way I can check if the resistor box is still good? and how do I check the ohms of the injectors? Because I think that might be one the problems Thanks

unless you swapped out the injectors for a set of peak/hold you need to loose the resistor box.

 

I'm pretty sure they are the stock injectors that came with the motor. How would I know if they are a set of Peak/hold? Thanks
