Default a engine no power question

Hey I got a 93 acura integra manual. The other day my distributor went out and I changed it with the cap and rotas and the spark plugs with wires. When I started the car, I drove it and gave it gas and I was amazed. When I punched it on low RPM's, the car did not even go until it got into higher RPM's. The timing is perfect. I checked it. So what I am thinking is the fuel or too much air and not enough fuel. so basically when on low RPM's it does not jerk, it just has no power until high RPM"s. What can it be? What can I check? ANYTHING IS A THANK YOU (only if is not crap and jokes) PLZ NEED HELP THANX

make sure your firing order is correct. You might have rotated your distributer assembly also, this will mess up your timing, make sure you didnt rotate the entire assembly.

Well how low of RPM's does it not make power, and when do you notice a signifficant pickup in power? If it didn't do this before, a tune up should only make it better. You must have not done something right. Check your fuel filter too.

When you took the dizzy off, did you put it back on in the same spot it came off? You might have just retarded it. Always mark where the bolt lines up in the relation to the head.

Check the spring that makes contact between the coil and the cap. Either that or check the resistance on the coil to see if its in spec.

It really sounds like a faulty coil. Just cause you installed a new or rebuilt dizzy, doesn't mean it can't be defective. Check the primary and secondary resistances on the coil.
