Default Alternator not charging

I have a 92 dx thats giving me issues. The other day my battery died while driving leading me to believe my alternator died. I have 2 spares so i rounded them all up and had them tested. There was 1 good one out of the three (the one from the car was bad)
I put the one that tested good on the car but it still doesn't charge. The weird thing is the battery light is NOT on?? wtf. I checked the voltage at the green plug going to the alt and i got ground 10v 5v .75v and nothing at all off the thick white wire Tomorrow after the snow melts im going to change the wiring harness and see if it helps otherwise im going to look for another car

The voltage regulator in the alternator may be bad.

OK still having issues with this guys. Heres a list of what i have done:

Changed to a know good alt
Added ground wires
Changed engine harness
checked all fuses
changed the bulb in the cluster

Now one think I just thought of is does the main relay have anything to do with the alt? When i First got this car i kept blowing a fuse that made the main relay die so I jumped the relay with a wire from the ignition switch. I fixed the issue with it blowing the fuse but never removed the jumper wire. I am wondering if the main relay died and i just dont know it cause its jumped? Any other ideas??

I had the same issues with my 97 cx changed a BUNCH of stuff including main relay new fuse box new alternator new battery ect and the hectic battle of trying to find a loose ground I struggled with this problem for about 3 months non stoped cause I work and school and yea thats a pain

chances are you do have a loose ground or bad ground wires themself BUT in all honesty I just gave up sucked up my pride and gave it to the electrical shop NOT a mechanic spent $100 and spent about an hour waiting but I left with my car working so no more embarrassing jump starts at school and I would highly recommend you just take it to an electrical shop to save you time and a MASSIVE headache

I just got back from the junkyard. I got both fuses boxes and a main relay i also picked up the driver side window switch and door lock switch all for $10. I love my local yard awhile back I got a full z6 swap for $200. My car is sitting at a friends house so once he gets home im going to start replacing stuff.

Bump for an answer to this question. My newer battery died last night, and the alternator is fine, so apparently I have a wiring/ground problem
