Default do you think this will burn off?

I am wrapping my header today so my cat will heat back to proper temp.

Do you think this carbon will burn off now?
should I spray anything on it?
if I had a compressor I would blow it out but I dont

best thing to do is run the pi$$ out of it for a day. if your motor smokes and the carbon came from the smoke, its just gonna keep building up. if its cuz someone never ran it the way a honda is supposed to be run, then just drive it like you own it

It might is my best answer. Cat's can be contaminated like with coolant and all though it looks great, it does not work.

Like was said run it in the upper rpm range. Hop on the freeway and stay at 55mph in the slow lane in 4th gear for around 15 minutes. Or at or slightly above 4k for 15min's.

it is because of a bad o2, running rich
and a header not allowing the cat to be hot enough to cook.

I don't have coolant in my exhaust
I have no smoke

and I almost pass smog w/o doing the alky trick

so it should be only from a sub temperature exhaust situation i hope

does this alter the above feedback?
