NA build?
i have been thinkin of doin a NA build for my 92 ls to try and get bout 250 hp right now i have almost ever bolt on now just need some ideals for inside without v tec tho
bust out your pocket book!
also check out nonvtec.com
any na build vtec or not is going to need the following
high compression pistons
which if you go aftermarket will require new rods
head package, valves, springs, retainers, pretty agressive cams, P&P, valve job
a good header not sure what you have now but i would op for a hytech style race header with a good flowing exhaust
intake, you could just go with a skunk2 and get a port match done to a bigger throtle body or you can just go ITB's and make some power!
also there is no replacement for displacement so bumbing up to a sleeved block to fit some bigger slugers would help
the list could go on 250 whp would be a pretty extensive set up on a ls motor but with enough cash it can be done.
now here is the real questions....
how much money do you want to spend??
can you do any work yourself?
what do you want to do with the car?

so far i have a aem cold air intake 4-2-1 head dont know that kinda and a 2.5 inch cat back but i have a bare block and a head and some pistons that i got told r 11:1
first off if you dont mind use proper english and grammar cause i have hard time understanding whay you are saying.
do some searching specially in the all motor section and find out what you want to do first.
cause neither me or anyone else are going to sit here and walk you step by step on what you need to do.
figure some things out on your own using the magical search button and THEN if you have any questions feel free to ask.

11.1 isnt good enough. you are going to spend way too much money for NA. trust me i thought about it. you should just go ls-turbo. but if you really want NA then gl.
OK here it goes :
I always been a Ford Zetec fan (Know a great deal about them, and chassis codes...) but my older brother bought a 98 EK Civic Type R and when I drove it and revved the engine, the VTEC engaged and I got hooked on Hondas. now I have bought a 92 DA Hatchback manual transmission and I would like to swap the B18B ( No VTEC
) with the B18C VTEC from the Integra type R JDM spec preferable.
I notice that they have the same displacement so no need for a block or crank swap but pistons for higher compression so should i get the JDM Pistons and JDM cylinder head to make it work ? I don't know much about B engines.
help is appreciated
is it possible and how many parts should I swap ???
Thanks, Will

This is the most whp I've seen made without vtec. IIRC he has spent $3000 on the head alone. To make 250 all motor AND non-vtec won't be cheap.
