When I built my 1995 EJ1 Civic with B18C1 in 2006, I found a set of OBDII OEM injectors that were rated for 270cc. The seller told me they were from an Integra Type R.

The seller previously had them sent to RC engineering to get them checked and the specsheet indeed listed them as 270cc. I spliced the OBDII clips to my engine harness, put the motor together, and they have been working flawlessly ever since.

So the question is, which Honda models use OEM injectors rated for 270cc?

Because when I once referred to my 270cc injectors as Integra Type R injectors, I never heard the end of it from the experts. I was told that ALL B series motors come with 240cc injectors.

 

This may not be the best way to confirm or deny your claim, but I'm looking through the injector wizard in my AEM EMS software. It lists all the Honda, Acura, as well as a number of other manufacturers and popular aftermarket injectors. There is no separate listing for the Type R. The Integra is included with all the B and VTEC D series 240CC. The RSX and 03 Civic are shown to have 290cc, while some of the preludes have even bigger injectors. But no 270cc.

I had my 240cc injectors serviced by RC and when they came back, they were rated at 250cc. But a jump to 270cc... not likely.

If the injectors were serviced within the last couple years it should be noted that RC has come down a great deal from the high quality and reliable reputation that they once had.
