Hey whay up everybody.
I know its mad late over here on the east coast right now, But any ways I just wanted to know if someone could tell me why I keep breaking this one mount. The setup consist of a stock B18A1 in a 93 dx hatch. The motor doesent produce enough torque to bust mounts, and all my other mounts tight and good. and yea I got my torque mounts on too.

Driver error? Are you doing alot of burn outs or popping of the clutch?
Edit: How sure are you that the motor is sitting completely straight? Are all the other mounts good? Was this an auto to manual swap, bad auto to manual mount?

your engine is sitting very slightly higher on the passenger side. you can barely tell by looking at the VC, but it's more obvious looking at the intake. I wouldn't think that's enough to cause your problem, but I suppose it's putting anough extra weight on the drivers side.

If you're really cheap and willing to wait, go to a home depot and get poly urethane in a tube for construction use. Take your drivers' mount and passengers' trany mount out and fill the holes with the poly and fill it in GOOD(possibly the rear mount as well)! Give it a couple of days for it to dry and reinstall them. You'll notice a huge difference!!. The whole car will vibrate as you start the engine.
That will give you some time to save up for some nice engine mounts if you're on a budget.

Yea man, the car has never been an accident and the car was manual from before. Now that I look at it the car is tilt a little sideways but as far as why I got to look a little harder. All my other mounts are good and in tact. is the motor to bracket combo thats wrong. ttt

Re: (averyvm)
When I say im breaking them, I mean that the rubber in the mount is being chewed up. I would take a picture and show you guys but the car is in south florida and Im in tallahassee fl.

Are the tq mounts ripped?
Id just fill them with window-weld for now. Yes, its a bandaid fix, but it might prevent you from killing another mount until you find out the real issue.
(it would be softer than urethane inserts)
