Coil Bind/Bump Stop
I put some springs on the other day for the first time. Front 1.5" Drop, Rear 1.35" Drop. When I hit small bumps or pot holes if going a little to fast it seems to bottm out in the front. Checked front and the very top part of the coil on the bottom the paint has rubbed off a little and started to rust. I think I set the bumper stop to low. I am going to adjust it up this next weekend and see if it makes a difference. If it does not bottom out any more after I adjust the bumper is the coil still ok? do I need to patch the rusted spot?

even if it's completely unloaded? what is the reason for them to be there in the first place?
