I recently purchased a 1979 Accord in great condition for $ 400.00 I finally got it running correctly and all cleaned up and shiny. 2 Weeks ago I came out to make a Beer run and some #&*!#$ Idiot decided that my Hatchback window needed a "Speed Hole". There was a 5 pound boulder sitting in the back cargo area and a gaping hole in the back window. The glass shops want at least $ 480.00 for a replacement. that's more that the entire car cost.
I been looking through the salvage yards around town and 70's Honda's are non-existent. Does anyone have a Back Hatch window that they would like to sell?
From what the Glass shop told me all the windows have the electric defroster and at this point I'm about to fit a plexiglass in the empty hole. One of the salvage yards helped out with a Interchange list and apparently any Accord from 79,80 & 81 will do.

Be sure to look under "back glass".
