Default fog light question on a 92 eg ?

okay so i wired up all the wires and hooked up all the plugs on the fog lights and they work fine. but now i noticed that the fog light switch does not turn off its always on. when i push the button for the fog lights the green light on top turns on that works fine. but when i turn it off the fog light switch itself stays on all the time even when the car is off. the only thing that i might have did wrong is the wire for the constant power i didn't know where to wire it up so i wired it striaght to the battery. does anybody know where to wire that constant power besides going striaght to the battery. thank you for the info and help!

you answered your own question of why the power is constantly on.

there are 5 plugs under the dash at the top of the fuse box, you plug the foglight harness into one of the plugs, there is only one i believe that funtions correctly with the switch, i dont remember which one exactly but its just trial and error.

the plugs are a pain to get to!

GL hope this helped

the plugs aren't that bad to get to, but yeah, you most likely have it pluged wrong. i want to say it's the middle plug that the fog lights go to.

It is plug #2...........second from the left. That plug leads to the parking lights. The foglights should only be able to turn on when the parking lights come on...........regardless if the dash switch is on or off.
