Default OEM Type R Clutch

Will an OEM DC2 Type R clutch and pressure plate hold 210HP at wheel? This is a NA setup. If not, any recommendations?

For what it's worth the OE ITR clutch has it's own completely separate part number for the pressure plate or "clutch cover" as they call it sometimes.

The disc is the same as GS-R I believe.

Now when it comes to buying aftermarket clutches all 92-up B series clutches are interchangable. 90/91 had smller mainshaft diameters, thus smaller splined clutch discs.

I'm on an Excedy 3 puck now but I hate the vibration when I ride the clutch at a certain point. And the clutch pedal is way too stiff for city driving especially in a jam. It could be my pressure plate which is due for change, but I just want something with a more OEM feel in the clutch.

i'm sure the OEM ITR clutch will handle that no prob. now if your planning to go anywhere from 250hp+ i'd def upgrade to a stage 1/2 clutch

Another problem with aftermarket high pressure plates. They kill your clutch master cylinder fast!
