Default Thinking about buying an R. Your advise is appreciated

I have been wanting a CTR for years now, and after being screwed over by Evolution Imports I have come to the conclusion that the ITR may be best for me. I have gone back and forth between a new Fit, or something a may enjoy much more the ITR. l live in VA, and work pays for my transportation to my job in D.C. so having a brand new car sitting for most of the week does not make a whole lot of sense. So I have tentatively decided to pursue the ITR path.

I have found a 1998 ITR in Arizona with around 94k on the clock for $14,900. The caR is all stock, with maintinence records. My question for you all is this a fair price for the mileage? I look to you for help, I know most of you have owned yours for years and could offer some great advice.

Pending everything checks out, I would say the car is worth right at 14k. When I say check out, I mean clean title, clean car fax, no hidden secrets , bone stock (has it always been that way?), good condition mech/cosmetically. I would offer the seller 13-14k range. Keep in mind, alot of R's with 100K+ miles have been selling for 11-15k.

I remember seeing that R about 2-3 weeks ago. It looks really clean. Offer the seller 13.5 and see what he says !

Well my brother just got done looking at the caR. All he could say is WOW, said it was cleaner than his 7 month old Ridgline. Lady has every maintinence receipt including all oil changes. Trany was replaced at 60k which does not bother me,timing belt was done at the same time. A little early but better safe than sorry. She is pretty set on $14.5, I would like to have got her down to $14,000 being I would have to ship it here but oh well.

So pending what my finance terms, which will be handled on Monday I may finally be the owner of R unless of course it sells before the end of next week

Thanks for all the positive responses, and to Mr.OB*GYN_Rhett thanks for the reply if this does not go well I might consider it.
