poor acceleration on my 02 type S

is it me or do all rsx have poor acceleration? when i shift from 1st into 2nd gear around 2k-3k rpm the car doesnt want to move and the same with 2nd into 3rd around same rpm's. my mechanic told me its how they are. to me it really annoying. it feels like the car is bogging out.

poor acceleration compared to what? My car moves from 2-3k rpms but slowly. Are you saying it moved abnormally slow? Is this your first honda? Any mods on the car? Miles? etc

remember rsx dont have much torgue so thats also a factor

They do, but only in high rpm's.

140 = weak. Buts it a 2.0l 4 banger...soo its to be expected almost. At least NA

yeah but not at low rpm's... the torgue sucks imo... you have to rev the crap out of the rsx to get the power out... at low rpm's you cant do much...
