Bolt ons for h22a1
I have a 94 h22a1 lude. I have simple bolt ons such as exhaust and cold air intake. What kind of power gains will i get with aftermarket headers? Is it worth getting headers?
Unless you're running something like a 454 under your hood, you only need 1 header.
If you've changed the rest of your exhaust, it's a wise idea to also upgrade your header and downpipe.
You can't ask what power gains bolt-ons will give you, without getting 50 million answers that most likely won't apply to you. There's no set power gain for any bolt on. Companies that make these parts all have different dyno systems, located at different elevations, using different pump gas...there's so many factors that could affect the power gain numbers. It's virtually impossible to add up your horsepower when considering buying parts...just gotta install them and run on the dyno to find out.
It's just a matter of buying what you like, and making sure it's made with quality/reliability.

you'll never get your money out of bolt ons without tuning. Same goes for anything aftermarket.
adding "performance" parts are useless in general without having some way of syncing them all together...aka tuning. Changing parts from stock changes what the engine wants to see in fueling, ignition timing, and vtec crossover.
