load test
How accurate is a load tester for a battery at advanced auto?I have been having a problem with my car starting my starter was a click so i had my battery load tested at advanced auto and it was good.I bought a starter and im having the same problem. The problem at first started only when the it was real cold now it wont start at all except for once in a wile.I can pop start it but I cant jump it with jumper cables.I replaced the ground on the battery and i replaced both terminals.Any ideas? thanks for the help
the load tester is fairly accurate (i work for advance) it could be that the person that tested your battery was just a lazy [freak]head who told you it was bad so he would'nt have to put it in. Did you happen to notice what the numbers on the machine were during the test?
Ok i thought i figured it out i replaced my tranny ground and my car started right up i started it a few times to make sure and it was good.It started sounding weak like it didn't want to start so i put it on a battery charger and let it charge for a few hours and now it wont do anything. It does not turn over or anything. It wont start with jumper cables either .I have had it charging for about 3hrs today and and its not starting. Is it possible i drained my battery so much that I cant jump start it? Or does anyone think it could be something else? Thanks for the help
