STOCK ONLY. What's your combined mpg?
How many miles per gallon do you get in day to day driving?
If you're from Canadia, use this formula to convert it:
235.2/(liters per 100km)
I'm only interested in data from Civics with no drive-train, engine, intake/exhaust or exterior wings that affects drag.
thanks

I get 26-28 mpg in my stock 07 SI Sedan. About 20/80 city/highway mix. On the highway i set the cruise control set a 75. I do tend to drive a little spirited on occasion.

Exactly how I would describe my mileage and driving habits.
I have gotten as high as 36 MPG on one occasion, but 30+ is pretty rare because I tend to drive hard.

I love people that quote their gas mileage by miles per tank like it's some kind of fixed component of mileage.
Tank sizes differ from model to model which makes it stupid to use to compare anything but civic to civic........but wait you say, that's all we're comparing.....read on....
Gauging miles per tank based on your gas guage is ridiculous as a method of comparison. Not everyone fills up at the same point, not all gas guages will read exactly the same, and not all pumps will fill to the exact same fill level.
Just calculate miles per gallon like any other RATIONAL person would. Set your trip to zero at fill-up. Drive until you fill up again (preferably at the same station). Then divide miles driven by gallons used.

Ethanol blended crap perhaps?

Ok did another fillup before I went on the freeway and when I got off. I drove about 140 miles I divided what I filled up with after. I got about 32 mpg on freeway, but thats only when I keep it around 3000 rpm. I guess you have to be chill on the gas.
Just bought my 08 Civic Si Sedan. I filled up today and got 31mpg. I was very impressed. I mostly drive just to and from work on a main Highway. I think its very good considering the advertised highway milage is 29mpg. especialy since it only has about 500 miles on it.
