Default wierd clutch problem with 97 SH

ok my bros SH is doin something i never seen

it turns on fine, i push in the clutch and turn the key and crank it then let go of the clutch
then when you have it in neutral and push the clutch in it boggs the motor down and shuts it off

So ur saying that when u push the clutch in the car dies? Hmm that's kinda odd, only thing I can think of is maybe ur thrust bearings are going out, causing the crank to move just a tad too far so the crank position sensor can't read and then turns the car off. Does the car start fine with the clutch pushed all the way to the floor?
