ive search seriously i just have to make sure!!! vacume leake question
every time i start my car i get the usual bouncy rpm but this morning when i drove down the street i got a bouncy, no power, sluggish, jerky experince called a couple of my car guru buddies told me it was eather spark plugs and wires and maybe distributer but more than likely a vacumme leak but then one of my friends said it was the same problem he had with his civic two days before he threw a rod well he got me worried and i am just making sure i drive a 95 prelude si with intake and headers
Spark has nothing to do with roaming idle...stop listening to those friends.
Check all vacuum lines, charcoal canister, vacuum solenoids, FITV, and IACV. Search for how to fix/clean the FITV and IACV.

so i have nothing to worry about the whole rod throwing ... the only reason thery said maybe spark pluges because of the misfireing may be apat of the drop in idel and the backfire
Well you didn't mention backfiring/misfiring.
That could be caused by; bad spark plugs, bad spark plug cables, timing is off, bad coil, bad ignition module, bad connections in distributor, dirty spark contact points under distributor cap, distributor rotor worn out.
Roaming idle, and misfiring...two problems going on at once caused by separate things...given you DO have roaming idle. Roaming idle is when you let your car idle...and it revs up and down by itself without you on any of the pedals. If it does this...is it when the car is cold, or warmed up?

Check those valves, all your vacuum lines, etc.
Might also look into replacing ignition module or coil...or both. Read through a Chiltons/Helms/Haynes manual to find out how to test them. You'll also find a layout of the vacuum system in these manuals...to verify that your system is hooked up properly.
