2000 civic trunk lid stays open about 1/4 inch. need to fix asap

Default 2000 civic trunk lid stays open about 1/4 inch. need to fix asap

so my trunk lid latches closed but it still stays open about a 1/4 inch, just enough to leak when it rains rattle when i drive and annoy the crap outt me because i know its there . i took a look at the latch and didnt see any way to adjust it, if there is a way please let me know. if not what will i need to do to fix this?

I'm thinking there's a adjuster on the car striker or the on trunk lid where the latch is. Should have 2 screws around it maybe, dont quote me on this.

yeah me and a buddy took off my whole trunk and it only helped a lil, it was all popped up though; now its only one side.

hey some guy wanted to trade those and $250 for my stock Si tails so what do u think i did. i got another set of Si tails in the garage just too lazy to put them in.....

Ok, the only adjustments/alignments i found are the striker and the bolts on for the trunk lid to the arms/hinges so i guess those are the only places to adjust.
