Help with a DIY please.....
Is there a DIY out there on how to remove the sheet metal inside the fender that cuts into tires on "slammed" cars? I have looked everywhere..... and please don't tell me to look in the slammed thread because thats way too many pages to be browsing through and Im lazy

LOL yeah the fenders are rolled. Im talking about the part that is on the frame. Id post a pic but I am at work...... This is on a 98 Civic BTW.....
Considering that it's a seam, you aren't going to want to be "removing" it.
I've seen people beat it over flat with a hammer, but if you do that, make sure you don't leave any damaged bare metal spots. Cover up any bare metal with undercoating.

Hammering it seems like the best way to go, so Im gonna give it a shot. I plan on undercoating inside the entire fender being that the liner has been removed. Does anybody have any pics of the seam hammered? Id like to get a good idea of how to do it before a start pounding away.....
