Default Damn deer

So i was driving home in my 07 4dr civic lx from picking up my s2k rims for my car. When 2mins away from my apt on the street there were no street lights there so i didnt see thee dead deer in the middle of the lane thus leading me unable to avoid it and hit it head on and tore my front bumper up pretty sure cuz it got tangle under my car for about 20ft that some of the under cariage is tore up but after striting the deer i ended up in a ditch and hit a sewer drain. But my front bumper, radiator, core surport are screwed from what i seen. Then when i turned the key to the power the car was making a horrible scraping sound so the car was undriveable and had to get towed outta the ditch and to my friends bodyshop i ll try to get pics tonight when i go to get my rims and crap outta the car. But if someone can tell me how to post i dont know how. Oh and cause dumbasses weren't smart enough to slow down when they seen my car with the hazards on and road fares before the cops came two other vehicles struck the damn deer to. So now my car is screwed up sitting with deer hair and blood all over my car.

I'm sorry to hear that bro. I've hit a deer before, and I actually just missed a big mama on my way home tonight. Hope you get it fixed, it's never fun.

Damn deer. Buddy of mine did a 180 on the freeway at 60mph in his wrx to avoid a deer than ran across. Luckily no other cars were next to him.

Honestly can't really say i didn't see it no street lights, really wasnt paying attention to the ground since the pavement there is smooth, and i guess two other cars as well had the same problem as when i was stuck in the ditch waiting on the cops to come and hit it as well not as servere thou.

I hope everything works out for you man. I just missed a dead deer last night on route 80. I was on my way home from Bloomsburg, PA (my gf goes to college there). I was doing about 80 in the slow lane in a unlit downhill section (with concrete barriers on both sides). All of a sudden there is a mutilated deer in the middle of my lane. I swerved hard to the right and just missed the deer and the concrete barrier (with is about 4 ft from the white line). I never lost control, but that thing scared me lol. Going over that at 80 mph would have been bad lol.

Yea im waiting for my buddy to give me a call to let me know whats up. And now my insurance is trying to screw me, cuz im with titan a branch off of nationwide and been with them for about 3 months but with nationwide for 3yrs and had renters, towing and gap coverage, before them told the the agent wanted everything the same and now to find out i have none and the agent acting stupid, so im waiting for a manager to call me which was surpose to be friday, ooh but wait its monday now and nothing. So my girlfriend has been driving me around for now. Then she comes home this mourning to tell me a plow truck hit her 99 accord ex at work so her taillight and rear quarter panel is messed up. Its been a great week. HAVE ANY ONE ELSE HAD THE SAME KINDA PROBLEM WITH INSURANCE, WHAT DID YOU DO.

About 2 years ago, Bambi tried to comitt suicide in front of me. She did $4800 worth of damage and got up and ran away afterwards!

I was fully expecting to eat my $500 collision deductable, but was shocked to learn a deer collision is considered a claim under the "comprehensive" portion of my insurance. Because it's so cheap, I carry a zero deductable under my comprehensive coverage.

One thing to watch out for.... When my car was in for repair, my bodyshop called me and said my insurance company would only pay for aftermarket replacement parts. I called the insurance company and mentioned the car was still under factory warranty coverage and questioned what effect aftermarket parts would have on that coverage. The insurance company basically said "nevermind", and I got OEM stuff with no further questions.
