Default ABS light on my JDM cluster and fluid is not low. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Hey i have a 98 integra with full type R suspension and a JDM gauge cluster and i have an ABS light on and i have checked the fluid and it is full. I do not know much on brakes so i was seeing if anyone else knew what causes this light to come on. I do not know if it would be because of the cluster or the the type R suspension. If you can just let me know if you need to know a certain thing that i may have left out. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP

You have an ABS malfunction. What year is the JDM cluster?

and now it has started going off and then coming back in like 10 min. I had someone tell me it was because of my drilled and slotted rotors but it didnt do this before i changed my Pads.

Its not because of the rotors. Im running brembos too and the light doesn't come on. Did this start happening right after you installed the cluster?

No this just started like 3 weeks after i put the cluster in but it did start after i just put new pads on. But the light just comes on when i first start it and once i hit the brakes for the first time it goes off until i restart the car.

maybe the AEBS light came on because of your AEBS manifold? jk, anyways just check the code to see what it is

Yes, check the code. Instructions and codes are in the Integra FAQ thread.

I just threw that out there because sometimes when you swap clusters things are all screwy and you gotta swap the circuitry on the back. It would of happened from the beginning though. The fluid going low would cause just the brake light to come on not the abs light. You have an abs malfunction.

How do i check the codes for the ABS is it the same way as the check engine light? I can check the check engine light but not sure about the ABS one.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by mugenwallace &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How do i check the codes for the ABS is it the same way as the check engine light? You jumper the same harness as for the CEL and read the codes that the ABS light flashes.
