guys.. my 98 civic DX 5 speed is acting up crazy
i changed the plugs/wires/fuel filter about a year ago so i don't think that's the issue
anyways.. it's horrible on gas.. full tank i get about 400km car is stock
will the new O2 sensor help??

i went on Denso site and it gives me 2 different part number for rear

fuel filters should be changed every 10,000 miles I believe. It could be that, timing issue, air filter, o2 sensor, or a hole in the gas tank. I would try the easiest things first..

 

have you checked all of the stuff that had been replaced, what kind of condition are th parts in. How is your driving style, shift points and what not? How about tire psi, ignition timing, ecu reset lately?

 

I had this problem once, i ended up fixing my tps and fix a bad vac. hose that goes to the fpr and that helped the most.

 

Well if its runing fine the problem could beur emergency brake. This winter mine froze up on me. I was out fooling around and didnt notice that the brake kinda stuk. It stuk just enough to let the tires spin. I know sounds stupid but mine did this for a week until i fixed it. Youd figure that i would notice it taking off rite! nah im just that num but my gas mileage went down the tubes for that week.
