what makes jdm b16a engine 10 more hp than usdm b16a engine ?

besides honda manufacture. i believe cams spec are the same. pistons are the same.displacements is the same. anyone knows ? thanks

soley compression ratio my friend. 10.4:1 is USDM (pr3 pistons) and 10.6:1 is JDM (p30 pistons). i prefer the JDM

Wait a second....I thought the USDM B16A2/3 was 10.2:1 while all JDM B16As are 10.4:1. I'm gonna search the interwebz for an answer.

Yeah jdm is 10.4
