B20 VTEC (everything required to be stong, reliable and daily driven) ?
yes, ive searched, there are about a million different opinions..
i want to hear from someone who has this set up (b20 vtec) in their car, daily drives it, and holds strong. I want to know ALL the necessities, advice, input (as long as you have built, help build, or own this swap), and tips or hints.
thanks.

These are the best articles Ive read on the subject. Now for MY b20 vtec. B20b block (stock bore), stock crank, stock rods (double shot penned, ARP rod bolts), 11.5:1 pistons, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, gsr (22 tooth) water pump with gsr timing belt, type r oil pump. B16a head p+p stock cams, AEM cam gears, b20 head gasket. Balanced rotating assembly. AEM fpr, Type r IM, 4 into 1 headers, gutted cat 2 1/4 mandrel bent exhaust, cheap enforcer muffler. Reflashed ecu. Ran perfect on 91 revved all day to 8k, mid 20's mpg. DD ...

ive built several b20vtecs. reliable with lots of tq. all daily driven with ps and ac.
you will need b20 head gasket, an oil feed line for the vtec, stepped dowels, b20 timing belt and a mapped ecu or Golden eagle has a kit. works best with mild cams like b16b or spoon for daily driving

BTW there are 2 versions of the b20. late models have higher comp ratio
just fyi you can rev it reliably until 8400 we started snapping rods at 8800
