Default royal purple q

I just changed my tranny fluid with that basic garbage that the dealership will give you. Waste of money, needless to say. Its developed that third gear wall, even worse than before.

Im on the royal purple website and want to get some of the fluid. My question is, what do I get for my type s, and how much of it do I need. Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and get GM syncromesh with friction modifiers. Complete overhaul is 1.8 quarts; fluid change is 1.6 quarts.

Go with Redline MTL. It will eliminate grinds and make your tranny shift like melted butter. Get 2 quarts (it will take all of it).

I used the new "improved" Honda MTF, and it was CRAP compared to the feel with the Redline MTL. Like I said, Redline MTL = no grinds & easy shifting.
