Skunk shocks w/ skunk coilovers
Had my skunk 2 coilovers on my car for a few months and finally blew out the stock shocks. The ride was pretty much unbearable because the coils are so stiff and the shocks weren't doing anything, every bump was like a 3 foot deep pot hole. I got my Skunk2 sport shocks yesterday and put them in last night in about 3 hours. I am very please with the set up and would suggest it to anyone that cant afford a full coilover set up. The ride handles very well and rides fairly smooth considering the 500ft/lb / 410ft/lb spring rates.
Also scooped some dc lower lcas and a gsr rear sway that I will be putting on this weekend. It is a great start to my spring break...I am planning on working on my car the whole break from school.

Good to hear the ride is better, I also have the skunk2 coilovers but with KYB AGX shocks. I still hate the ride quality, maybe it's just the mis-matched setup I have, or maybe the 500ft/lbs spring rate, haha.
Yours probably handles pretty good too.

What car is this setup on??? Because I have a 93 CX and I just bought some skunk2 coils (integra rates) and I did this because I want to slam the hatch and I was wondering if these shocks were any good. I want a nice stiff ride quality because it will be so low. not really looking for an oem ride or else I would go with lowering springs. do you think that extended tophats will make a huge difference???

I really like how mine sits.....its on a 94 coupe but its not slamed..you can still see the tops of the tires so its deff not tucking. Im not sure on the extended top hats..I never really looked into those.
