Losing weight
just a question on the 93 prelude VTEC...it weighs 2932 curb weight...stripping the rear seats and some interior parts and some stuff out of the trunk...how much weight do you think i will lose? say i run 13.9....stripping it what do you guess i would run? thanks guys
the rear seats on my 98 barely weigh anything and i'm guessing it'll be no different for your 93. a good but not exactly accurate way of gauging 1/4 time w/ weight is for every 100lbs, you shave a tenth of a second off your 1/4. search for the weight reduction thread.
buy taking the sunroof out and putting a cap on will save you 43 lbs. also if you remove the tar off car thats inside will save 15 lbs. replace the seats can save you a ton of weight also carbon fiber trunk and hood.

Here are some good info. If ur car weight almost the same as our, then shoudnt be a huge diff. http://www.importmodifications....html
thats a decent amount of wieght off the car. i have a magazine article some where that a japan tuner shop took his s2k and an integra and stiff the chasis and swiss cheesed the inner planels and got both cars about 500lbs lighter. now if i can find the dam thing

I don't know what gen you're talking about, but on a 4th gen you loose about 43 lbs from a sunroof plug, not 70.
