Default Eletric shock? Ouch!

Every time I get out of my car I get a shock when touching the door or the car itself. Anybody know why? Grounds?

Why would I want rubber floor mats? lol

I have regular stock mats that came with the car. Obviously there's a problem. Has it happened to anyone else!?

LMAO

This happens to me every time i get out of my car!!!

Dont know why, it just started doing it one day...

What ive noticed on my car though is only the door shocks me, no other part of the car

So what ive done is adapted by using my foot to close the door!!!

This happens to me all the time, in alot of cars.

very easy to solve too lol

all you have to do is before you get out of the car hold something metal on the car like the door pillar and get out, viola no shock lol.

you have to do it right though, plus I think its easier than using your foot

I just told you how not to get shocked?
hows that no help?

go try it first then come back with an answer

best bet to to hold the A pillar while sitting and kinda use that as the o **** handle to pull yourself up.

hence you'll be grounded before you even get out, no shock

Theres alot that you have to take into consideration about this topic. Alot has to do with the clothes you wear. An easy thing you could do is put a cable from the chassis to the ground. This will ground the car and you will not get shocked. Ever notice on some cars a random wire hanging down? Yea thats what its for.

What do you mean a cable from the chassis to the ground? Isn't that what the Negative battery cable does?

Put a wire anywhere under the chassis to the floor and it grounds the car.
