Hello

I just picked up a set of SS brake lines for my EG. the person I brought them from only gave me the lines themselves. I know that when buying them new, the package includes washers, etc.

My question is, what do i need to replace when I install the SS lines on my car? Specifics would be greatly appreciated.

 

only thing that came with mine was the washers

 

should i just go to the dealer to get new washers for all the lines? i distinctly remember the washers that came with the SS lines being metal and not rubber.

 

Might want to also pour some fluid through the lines. No telling what's gotten into them - dust, dirt, water, bugs.

 

Yes, go buy the OEM sealing washers for the caliper end of each line (8 total, 2 for each line..upper/lower) and blow them out with compressed air to be sure they are clean. Otherwise...plug and play
