Default My custom exhaust on my Hatch

Its 2.5'' off my header into a 2.5'' inlet magnaflow resonator 22'' long into 3'' under gas tank out to the bumper with a turn down tip. sounds nice and quite actuall normal driving and very loud when i lay into it. im pretty happy with how it turned out.

Ill get more pics tomorrow.

Exactly!

Why do you need 3" on an NA setup?

The reason its the size it is is because i have a 12.5:1 compression engine and its not a full 3'' either so i figured it would help out if it doesnt not a big deal for me to weld up another exhaust i jsut have to cut right before the gas tank off and then just do 2.5'' rest of the way out instead of 3''

Ill get better pics as soon as i can. I didnt have my camera with me at the shop while it was being done but ill toss the car on a rack tomorrow and get pictures

3" is fine with n/a, on my engine i picked up 40 ft/lbs torque with open header. it was a 12.5:1 h22. now my header may have been restricting it also, but i think you'll be fine

Looks good. Nothing wrong with using a 3" exhaust on an all motor car.

turbocharged ep3 = gay ricer, why would you put a turbo on that shitpile motor. come to MD and see if my NA car witha 3" exhaust doesnt smoke that pile.

eff the haters, full 3" woulda been fine, but the 2.5" front to 3" back is cool. nice work too, even though it was a quickie mig burn

So we are now classed as ricers if we make mods that improve performance. You are a moron. It's been proven time and time again that 3" makes power for some N/A builds.

Well its not loud unless im into it. car is very quite under 4k it alot quiter than the skunk2 i had on my car with 2 resonators.

Thanks for the coments everyone. And yes there are several proven dynos that the 3'' is good on na motors with big displacement or high compression high reving engines.

3" exhaust on a na car is fine and does help out but only if its properly matched to the collecter. Just cuz it works for some doesnt mean it will work for all tho

reading owns joo, not me. your sig says turbo ep3 (period) nothing about a k24. im glad your smart enough to dump the factory engine, but i still doubt your intelligence when you say this exhaust is useless and ricer. youve got alot to learn. dont be sad because his exhaust is the same size as yours and he doesnt even have one of those ricy turbos

You make power with an bolton h22 and 3" exhaust.
