97' ek hatch with b16a
Earlier today when i decided to listen to a great song called "VTEC, " it all went to ****. It picks up okay untill vtec engages at 5,500 then it just bogs.
My oil is fine, i changed my spark plugs and theres no CEL!!! When i got home i let the car idle and it idles up and down at 900-1,200 rpms.
has any one ever encountered this problem?
any help please
thanks in advance!

if it just randomly stopped, then thank the VTEC god. but seriously, it sounds like a wiring issue if it randomly stopped working and started working out of the blue. maybe your low on oil, even though, <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 97ek9 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">My oil is fine</TD></TR></TABLE>. because there are only so many reasons for VTEC not to work.
