When everyone refers to a helms manual are you refering to the shop/service infromation one as seen here http://www.helminc.com/helm/se...73TBB or is it one of the other manuals seen in the "document type" pull down menu?

That's the correct service manual for a '98. The '98 Integra Service Manual (that one) has the information for all '98 Integras including the ITR.

For '97, they did not publish an entire service manual. Instead, they issued an ITR supplement to the '94 Integra Service Manual, so the ITR-specific information is in the supplement, everything else is in the '94. So for a '97, if you want complete, precise information, you need the '94 manual and the '97 ITR supplement.

For '01 (and maybe '00, not sure), they did not publish an entire service manual. Instead, they issued a supplement to the '98 Integra Service Manual, so information that changed from '98 to '01 is in the supplement, everything else is in the '98. So for an '01, if you want complete, precise information, you need the '98 manual and the '01 supplement. (Again, not sure about '00.)

However, the '98 Integra Service Manual has 99.9 percent of the information you need to work on any year USIM ITR, so you can almost always get away with just the '98 Integra Service Manual without necessarily buying any supplements.

There is indeed a 00 supplement service manual.

Check out hondatech "dot" info
You can download both the 94 and the 98 (as well as a ton of other manuals). Still, go ahead and buy one...it is well worth it and nice to have a complete book while working on the car.

Yes, that's correct.

Just so you're not surprised, though - the $64 manual is like 1000+ pages, the thick book that tells you everything you need to work on your car. The $38 supplement is really thin, like 20 pages, and you'll probably never need it - but if you're interested in having everything totally complete and accurate, then yes, that's the right one for your car.
