I just put on mine today.

Whatever you do, don't over tighten them. There should be very little pressure on the MC when the brakes are "off".

Installation was easy. The brace makes a difference, pedal feel was firm and consistant at the track today. I give it 4 out of 5 's

Am I the only one who's bolt didn't line up to the dimple in the MC?

It didn't exactly fit, but when I tightened it up a bit it straitened out.

Does it need to be torqued down?

Why do you say that? Did you have an issue?

Install was simple.

Customer service is excellent.

Difference in braking is substantial.

Product quality is excellent.

Price is right.

I highly recommend the LHT master cylinder brace to any ITR owners who want to substantially improve their braking and pedal feel.

I got one of the first batch product.

Good:
1. Simple to install (but the directions/illustration can be better).
2. It fits and works as advertised.

Bad:
1. Mine came "painted" and it was already chipped to hell before I even touched it.
(I thought I could return it for powder coating or have it replaced with a powder coated one.)

Overall:

Mine didn't fit the dimple. It's off by about 1/8". Hope it's not a problem since the bolt comes to kind of a sharp point.

I found a big difference at the track yesterday (with Ddub )

I spent more time examining the differences a 6 point cage have made to my car (BIG DIFFERENCE) - but found that the MC brace:

1. provided more braking power - ABS kicked in earlier - as I was overwhelming the available braking grip my tires were providing. I wasn't running R compounds because it was raining pretty heavily in the morning.

2. Trail braking modulation was easier

3. There was a reduction in "mushiness" of the pedal - post track day. Usually I have very little in the way of brake feel after a hard day of driving. I suspect this may be due to the fact that my MC is on it's way out (among other things like my clutch )

4. I also found out why people put those sock things over the reservior. I had a little spillage at the end of the day.

5. Installation was easy and it fit perfectly - although the bolt nearest the firewall is not very easy to access.

We want so desperately to be like all you ITR guys, so we need to have this new "MC brace" that you talk about so much! What is it? What does it do? Who cares?! The ITR d00ds like it, so it's gotta be good on the GS-R!

All Integras have the same chassis.

MC braces are adjustable.

Why do we need a GSR version?

If you guys have something that mounts in the same location as the MC brace, move it.

I always check out the ITR forums.....but no one ever bothers to offer cool parts like this in the integra forum cause most regular integra guys arent into it, only a select few of us....and the few of us that are, well you can find us in here too

You can adjust the MC braces.

You can adjust the MC braces.
you can adjust the screw but that might not need to be what needs to be adjusted....what if the GSR one is a half inch to the left over the ITR one...i dont wanna buy a brace and then find that out. Even LHT said GSR ones would be available soon in the original thread and if you could use the ITR one on both cars what would be the point in him not selling the ITR one to GSR owners at the same time?

All master cylinders are interchangeable. Therefore they all are "centered" on the spot. The only difference that could come into play is distance forward and aft. Therefore the adjustability of the MC brace would seem to make any variances in the MC itself, negligable.

Maybe LHT thinks GSR owners are just too thick-headed to figure this out on their own.

Seriously though, what am I missing?

A MC brace can also be positioned anywhere inline with the MC, as long as it's not causing any harm to suspension components.
