Default h22 header bolts size

my header was stolen. so i need to know what the size of the studs/bolts are for the stock h22 header to the block. thanks

What you can do, is go to Home Depo, grab a bunch of various diffrent size bolts, adn try them till you get it right, and return the rest

Im pretty sure they are 12mm nuts, just find another 12mm nut from another part of the car. take it off, and try it on the header bolt, if it fits take that nut to your local hardware store and buy more like it. and remember to put the original nut back where you borrowed it from

The hex size on the nut is 12mm. The studs are M8x1.25.

that is a very bad idea.....

one might fit, but you might get some NPT threaded bolt, and cross thread the stud.....you might not even know it.


your best bet is to get a helms and look

Studs are not generally pipe threaded, but your point is a good one.
