New Hydro conversion from Hasport
Hasport is releasing a new hydro conversion for EF and DA chassis. The Clutch Master Adapter (which is pictured below) allows the use of the stock Honda clutch master cylinder with the clutch cable. The lever assembly rides on a needle bearing giving an effortless feel to the clutch pedal even with high performance clutches.
The Clutch Master Adapter is compact in design to ease in installation and is shown pictured below with both a stock Honda clutch master and a Wilwood clutch master. In the near future Hasport will be releasing the mount kits for the Clutch Master Adapter and clutch lines for the different types of engine combinations. As of right now it is available just as a pictured above.
The Wilwood master cylinder has had the plunger shortened and a Hasport built yoke added, these parts will be available soon also.

You know what I thought of that would be very usefull for 88-91 owners... A pedal assembly that replaces the gas, brake and clutch pedal, if you ever spent time looking at the entire pedal assembly while you press the clutch, brakes and gas you'll notice that everything is flimsy, it all flexes
My idea is to create a all new stronger, beefier pedal assembly that is not only stronger but converts to a hydro system at the same time. That new hydro thing above is very nice but the clutch pedal is still the weak point, I'm almost positive that it wouldn't hold up (clutch pedal) to the stress from a twin, triple or even dual diaphram clutch that many high WHP cars need to run, therefor I think all lot of people might also see this as a good idea/investment + it'll solve the old weak clutch pedal that '88-'91 civic & crx's are known for. Let me know if that idea may be a possibility in the future
I know I'll buy one!!!

That's easier said than done. If someone were to make a complete assembly it would require a lot of fabrication and be fairly expensive.
It would make more sense to modify stock units and sell them exchange.
BTW, the 90-91 clutch pedals are stronger than the 88-89 ones. I changed out mine and lost most all the flex.

That makes sence, any plans for that in the future?

I have a solution for this. IM me.
Brian, looks like an excellent product. I love the simplicity.
Is an adjustable clutch pedal stop needed?

so is this new piece better then the hasport billet cable-to-hydro conversion that bolts up to the tranny? i'll be using an exedy twin disc, which will feel better and lighter?

Not from us, but it sounds like a nice little side business for a garage fabricator with skills.

Only if you use an oversized master cylinder.

The new style will feel lighter. Also the beauty of the new kit is you can adjust the point at which the clutch engage/disengages with the cable adjustment.
