Just recently put back together a car that has been sitting for 2 years with all the brake componets off. Over the weekend Reinstalled all the brakes master and booster. Now my problems is i have absolutley no brake pressure at all. I have bench blead the master twice can not get anymore air out of it . All the lines have been bleed in the correct order and cannot get a single buble out of them , solid fluid coming out. Yes i blead them multiple times insuring there was no trapped air caused by the brakes beein off the car for so long.

Now i first thought maybe someone at one time had gotten in the car to mess around , pushing the break pedal in with no lines attatched and blew the seals out of the master. So i have replaced the master with and OEM brand new one. Im still haveing the same problem. No pressure at all. There are no leaks from which i can find. Also no more air from wich i can get out of the calipers. The new Master Cylinder was blead aswell with no more air coming from it now.

Im almost at ta total lost to what it could be . Any help Please.

Is there no brake pressure when the car is off or on. Or is it both. I would say that you have a bad Brake booster because the brake booster is the one that creates the pressure by using mix of oil and air to push the MC rod. I think you can test if you have a bad BB with a pressure gauge or a brake shop can figure it out for you. What kind of brake setup is this anyways?

 

stock brake setup for a 2000 si...no pressure when car is off nor on. didn't think it would be the booster b/c that only comes into play when the car is turned on and vaccuum is created right?

 

No. It should be firm and the car is off and when you turn the car on the pedal goes down like a 1/4, but still firm.

 

just ordered a booster...we'll kno tomorrow i guess
