Love me some Hoosiers.
OK, OK, after sitting around listening to Steve J (N24RE) talk about his ITR all weekend, and getting Karl to haul my Busted *** (TM) Hoosiers to Hubcap Heaven on Friday (listening to Honda-Tech talk most of the way), I figured I had better get over here and see what all the fuss is about. There are so damn many THSCCers here we might as well have a direct forward link from the webpage. Whitney? Shultz? Anyone? Beuller?
Now the post topic - For those of you who haven't heard the story, I picked up some used Hoosiers at the Grand-AM Cup race up at VIR 2 weeks ago and used them at VIR this past weekend (BMWCCA school on the North course). After literally gooing my way all around the track (many puns intended) all weekend, I have only two words: Hoosier Daddy!
My good GAWD what grip. Why didn't somebody tell me about this before? I managed to scare the daylights out of a certain VW driving instructor (Mark! Mark!!! let go of the door!!!!!). I'm afraid I can't ever go back now. Street tires don't even feel sticky enough for the street.
This is really going to get expensive, isn't it? (damn).
-Matt - now shopping for a tow vehicle....

Poor Matt has been bitten by the large, black, round crack rock. I feel for you man. In fact, I'm willing to help - let me drive the C5 at the next THSCC school/TT. It'll help you out. Seriously.
And I was serious about letting you run in ITS. Or maybe that should be "IT-Chit-Talk."
No replacement for displacement. Hrm. Talk to me after Viper Days about this little saying
--Rice, who says "Welcome Matt!" and apologizes in advance for the trash talking from the "inner circle..."

Put your skill in my car and then talk to me about this saying.

As far as running in ITS, I don't think Cameron and Steve would be too happy about me showing up in ITS. Maybe we should start running a "Chit Talk" class. Every other class can run for trophies, Chit Talk can run for bragging rights.

-Matt (imitating Rice) thinking that when Rice actually drives the C5 he'll sell his Honda.

Oh No........Matt has made it to Honda-Tech.......we are in BIG trouble now
Matt is the only C5 owner I know that will give a slow ITR driver like me a pass just to make me feel better
Good to see you here....and I am going to find you a tow vehicle...just give me a few days.
Ciao'
