Your saying the car is not running but you started?

When your car idles it consumes air.

like stated in your other thread that is normal, what do you expect your intake to do blow air out?

You hear the sound of the air entering the SRI/IM and what not.

If you are unfamiliar with this noise, it is because OEM intakes are muffled to all hell in an attempt to make the engine bay as quiet as possible. No average consumer wants to buy a loud car from the factory.
