Default BudMan is back...

Okay, some of you will call me a flake, but that's okay. I met with some of the local guys last weekend during a motor swap & they convinced me I would regret my decision to sell...

They are right. I've taken my R off the market. It may not get driven much this year, but I kept looking at other cars & I always came to the same decision = this car is quicker, faster & more fun to drive (yes - I have driven alot of different cars in my day).

Thanks to the KC Crew for kickin my but & calling to my feelings after a long cold winter.

Thanks also to everyone who posted in my thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

Memories are worth more than the price of a car. I said I didn't need the $$, so what was I thinking??

most of us grow so attached to this car its like a family member. we put so much into them and learn every facet that makes them tick, its hard to part with that. I cant wait for mine to be stock again so I can appreciate it for what it is out on the track.

Good decision.
Save up your money and buy a luxury all around daily commuter to the office so you can get best of both world. It makes you more appreciate the simple rawness of the R on the weekends.

I've had a Denali & now with the new 4Runner (wifey drives) I still have our '98 TL 3.2 to drive to work. I only drive the R on very special nice days on the street...you can imagine what a dork I look like in a suit and a race car.

Tartje - sorry dude, but I can't come to the Expo this year. Timing is everything. Perhaps next year I'll be able to schedule the Expo again.

Very glad to hear, but don't be too hard on yourself. Your thoughts were logical and your heart was in the right place. (Your son.) Best wishes.

What else can I say other than I sprained my foot as I was kicking you in the butt.

I am glad that there will be more good times in store for you and the R.

Andrew, it was a spur of the moment thing again.... but I am begining to think you are developing a complex or something. I promise that when we get together with the batches in Omaha I'll call you.
